Grand Jury indictment against Dora Raymond for "Keeping a disorderly house." It sounds like a woman was persecuted for being an indifferent housekeeper until one reads the document which states, "(she) was the owner, lessee and tenant of a certain house then and there situate; which said house she did then and there unlawfully keep and was concerned in keeping as a house for purposes of prostitution and where prostitutes were permitted to resort and reside for the purpose of plying their vocation." This document is dated 25th of November 1899, Navarro County, Texas.
