Mrs. Stewart died Friday at Trinity Medical Center Hospital in Brenham.
She was born in Streetman. She was an advertising specialist and dorm
mother at Blinn College in Brenham.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Martha
Stewart of Cypress and Scott and Debra Stewart of Brenham; a daughter
and son-in-law, Karen and Don Hariston of Gainesville, Fla.; six
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was born in Grayson County and lived most of her life in Navarro

Mrs. Cloud died Monday at the Twilight Nursing Home in Corsicana.
She was born in Hartford, Ky., and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Cloud.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gene D. and Jeri Kelly of Corsicana; a stepson and daughter-in-law, J.D. and Sharon Cloud of

formerly of Madisonville are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Madisonville Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., and from 10 a.m.
until the time of services Friday at the church.
Mrs. Frossard died Tuesday in Corsicana.
She was born in Madison County and lived there until 1994, when she moved to Bryan and then to Corsicana. She was a lifetime member of the
First United Methodist Church and was a very active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Madison County Historical
Society.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Joe Gus Andrews and J. H. Frossard.
Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Charles Kenneth and Mary Jane Andrews of Madisonville, Joe Harold and Ann Andrews of
Abilene, John Herbert Frossard Jr. of Ennis, and Gus Woodrow and Linda Frossard of Grandbury; a sister, Josie Appling of Bryan; six
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Wilma Teague; and sister, Peggy Teague.
Mr. Teague is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue Teague of Corsicana; daughters and son-in-law, Diane Hawkins of
Hubbard and Debra and Barry Johnson of Desoto; godchild, Brena Jock and family of Corsicana; grandsons, Bryant Hawkins of Hubbard and William

Heritage Manor Nursing Home on February 5, 2003 in Plano, Texas.
Preceded in death by daughter Carolyn Reed and son, Jimmy Reed.
Survived by loving wife of sixty-six years, Velma; daughter, Patricia
Carroll and husband Ken; three grandchildren: Kimberly Covington, Amanda
Carroll, and Jack Carroll; two great grandchildren: Tim Rivera and Sarah
Irwin; brother Max Reed and wife Florence; sister Lyda Helms; and a host
of other relatives and friends. An avid fisherman, Millard could
do almost anything with his hands. He also enjoyed spending time
with his family. "Bodgie" will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

cancer at age 74. He was a veteran of The Atomic Bomb Tests at
Bikini Atoll, and a former National Chairman of the National Association
of Atomic Veterans. Colonel Caldwell is survived by his beautiful
wife of 54 years, Jacqueline Arlene Caskey of mesquite, a daughter,
Cathy L. Powers of Amarillo; 4 sons, Michael A. Caldwell of Bartlett, Tn,
Timothy M. Caldwell of Rowlett, Patrick H. Caldwell of Kaufman, and Mark
W. Caldwell of Mesquite; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Wassell and Lila Aurora McClellan Wassell. Preceded in death by his
parents; his brother, James McClellan Wassell and the late Kathryn
Anderson Wassell; his grandparents, Judge John Jacob McClellan and Lila
Gertrude Kerr McClellan.
He is survived by his wife, Dee Marsden Wassell

Edith F. Sanders, 88, of Bremerton died March 5, 2003, at Harrison
Hospital.
She was born July 15, 1914, in Rice, Texas, to Claude Jesse Cox
and Dora Hensen.
She married Leonard B. Sanders. He preceded her in death in
1991.
Mrs. Sanders loved being a homemaker and mother and spending
time with her family. She also enjoyed church activities and was a
member of Sagerton United Methodist Church in Stamford, Texas.
Survivors include a daughter, Annette Kensmoe of Bremerton; a
brother, George Cox of Stephenville, Texas; three grandchildren; and
five great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Jesse
P. Cox; and two sisters, Nan Kelsey and Sue Galbreath.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Kinney-Underwood
Funeral Home in Stamford. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in
Tuxedo, Texas.

She was born in Chatfield but moved to
Corsicana at an early age. A lifelong member of First Methodist Church,
she was also a longtime employee of Dawson and Sodd, having joined the
firm in 1930 as a bookkeeper when it was called Davis, Jester and
George. She retired in 1991.
She is survived by two nieces, JoAnn Means and
her husband Terry Means of Fort Worth and Nancy Roberts of Corsicana;
grandnieces and nephews Sam and Deborah Roberts of Plano, Mary Ann Means
and Emily Means of Fort Worth, and Robert and Danielle Means of
Corsicana; great-grandnieces and nephew Jessica Roberts and Lauren
Roberts of Dallas, and Clayton Roberts and Baily Roberts of Plano.

Son of the late Nicholas Peter Lorette of
Utrecht, Netherlands, and of Verla Mamie Shelton of Bethany, Okla.
Survived by wife,
Lola Anne "Tonie" Lorette of
Corsicana; daughter Pamela Field and husband, George Addison Field III
of Dallas; son Nicholas Bernard Lorette Jr. and wife Michele Tschurr of
Austin. "Papa" was adored by his grandchildren Emily Anne Field, Mary
Margaret Field, George Addison Field IV, Nicholas Bernard Lorette III,
and Monique Brogdon Lorette. Also survived by sister Betty Lorette (Mrs.
Robert Campbell) and by cousin Dennis Sneed, both of Bethany, Okla.
After earning his masters degree in organic
chemistry, he served 32 years as an organic chemist with Dow Chemical
Company. After retiring from Dow, he dedicated the rest of his life to
the service of others as a Methodist lay preacher, reading instructor to
the illiterate, minister to the poor, and Bible teacher. His calm
demeanor, gentle word, cheerful heart, and unyielding devotion to his
Lord made him an inspiration to all. His mere presence transformed
discouragement into confident faith. A devoted husband and beloved
father and grandfather, loyal friend and devout churchman, he will be
missed greatly by all privileged to have known him.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 9, 6 to 8
p.m. at Corley Funeral Home, Corsicana. Funeral services will be Friday,
Oct. 10, 11 a.m., First United Methodist Church, Corsicana.

a line and equipment technician for AT&T and Southwestern Bell for 34
years before he retired in 1980. Troy later worked as a realtor with
Clyde Johnson for 15 years in Navarro County. He was also a 'real
cowboy.' Troy was a World War II
veteran, having served as a Seaman 1st Class in the Navy.
Survivors include wife Betty Parrish Holder of
Dawson; son Robert Holder and wife Jackie of West Pueblo, Colo.;
daughter Leita Poteet and husband Ricky of Jewett; and four
grandchildren.

served in the U.S. Army from Feb. 5, 1949 to Feb. 16, 1953.
He was preceded in death by his father Daniel

Survivors include son Charles Kinnard of
Corsicana; daughters Nancy Jordan and husband Eugene of Atlanta, Ga.,
Juliette Ballard of Midway, Ga. and Samantha Mitchell of Corsicana; five
grandchildren; sister Marie English of Corsicana; brother Hiawatha Brown
of Corsicana; nephew Dwight Manuel of Irving; and niece Margaret Norman

and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen

Mr. Green was born July 2, 1946, in Frost. He Graduated from
Frost High School and Sam Houston State University. He was
president of Milford and Frost Citizens State Bank and later worked for
Williams Gin & Grain.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, J. C. and
Geraldine Green; and brother Benny Green.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Sharon Daniel Green, and
daughter, Andrea Danielle Green, both of Frost; daughter, Haley Melicent
Green Boscamp, and grandson, Austin Gunner Boscamp, of San Antonio; son
and daughter-in-law, Allen Wade and Julie Arnold Green and grandson
Tyler Wade Green, all of Frost; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and
Dorothy Green of McAllen; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ronny

Horace R. Moore
Horace R. Moore passed away Oct. 7, 2003 in
Dallas. He was born Dec. 16, 1918 in Frost to George Eddie Moore and
Cora Porter Moore. In 1940, he graduated from Baylor University School
of Business where he was a member and Senior Warden of Delta Sigma Pi,
member of The Nose Brotherhood, listed in College Who's Who, Director of
the Baylor National Chamber of Commerce, vice-president of freshman
class, president of sophomore class and president of junior class.
He was a Navy veteran of
WWII, having served in the
Pacific Fleet as an ensign on destroyer escorts. During a 1943 tour of
duty in Galveston, he met and married Frances Dowd Moore (deceased
1997(. "H" and "Fran" were active members in the Episcopal Church of The
Incarnation, members of Northwood Club, supporters of numerous charities
and non-profit organizations, were world travelers, friends to many and
the wonderful parents of daughter Meredith and son Craig.
Horace Moore's successful business career was
within the Texas supermarket industry. Having entered Dallas business as
a purchasing agent for A&P Food Stores, he departed in 1952 to form
Horace Moore Sales Company where he played a central role in developed
frozen food fillings. He later merged with another Dallas food broker to
form Brown, Moore & Flint, Inc.
At retirement in 1984 he, with three business
partners and more than 150 employees, represented products appearing on
every aisle of every supermarket, on the shelves of every convenience
store, and on menus of restaurants, schools and hospitals.
Horace R. Moore will be remembered as a man who
achieved ... quietly, gracefully, consistently and always with great
faith, loyalty and integrity.
He is survived by his sisters, Nedra Hooser of
Corsicana and Frances Holley of Italy; daughter, Meredith Moore Fulton
of Dallas, hur hasband John and their daughters Greer and Claire; son,
Craig Moore of Santa Barbara, CA, his wife Chris Hester Moore and their
daughter Mckenzie and their son Timothy Merritt Moore.
The family would like to express their deepest
gratitude to H's caregivers and therapists: Ginger, Gloria, Virginia,
Sheila, Judy, Anil and Mary Ann.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday,
Oct. 11, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel,

Mr. Capehart was born Feb. 25, 1912 to John
Thomas and Mary Capehart. He was one of 10 children, of which three
survive. He married Winnie Scruggs in 1934 at Navarro. They have two
sons, Charlie and Chester, which both have preceded him in death. He was
a farmer for several years, then went to work for Texaco delivering gas.
Later he bought the Texaco service station on South 7th Street in which
he owned and operated for 27 years before retiring in 1988. He was a
member of "That Church" of the Assemblies of God in Corsicana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Winnie
Scruggs Capehart; sons, Charles Capehart and Chester Capehart; five
borthers; and one sister.
Mr. Capehart is survived by grandsons, Mike
Capehart of Corsicana, David Capheart of Houston, and Jeff Capehart of
Kentucky; granddaughter, Winona (Wendy) Depew of Nevada; eight
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother and
sister-in-law, the Rev. Jimmie and Louise Capehart of Corsicana;
sisters, Helen Capehart and Cleo Herndon, both of Corsicana;
daughters-in-law, Alice Capehart of Green River, WY, June Abbie of
Kerens; sisters-in-law, Retha Gunn of Gonzales and Anna Capehart of
Winnsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grove. He owned and operated Hubbard auction barn for many years, and
also owned and trained race horses. He joined the Marines in 1942, then
served in the South Pacific in New Guinea and Russell Islands before his
discharge as a corporal in 1945.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue
Magee; and sister, Reba McSpadden.
Mr. Magee is survived by two nieces, Merle and
Herman Baldwin of Fort Worth and Martha N. Tipping of Abbott; a number
of great-nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jerry Hale of Blooming
Grove.

Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 19, 1932 in San
Antonio. She was retired from Texas Instruments after 22 years. Mrs.
Davis was a member of Eastern Star and the First Methodist Church of
Richland.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
Charles Davis; and parents, Blackie and Ida Wigley.
Mrs. Davis is survived by son and
daughter-in-law, Charles Edward Davis Jr. and Brenda Gail of Richland;
daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl Lyn and Mike Asay of Azle and Melissa
Ann and Paul Martinez of Grand Prairie; sister, Georgia Ann Allen of Red
Oak; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny W. and Linda Wigley of Stinnett
and Buddy H. and Mary Wigley of Corsicana; grandsons and their wives,
Joshua Davis of Fort Irwin, CA, Shane and Angela Ray of Richland, Chris
and Stacey Ray of Wortham, Nathan and Kate Asay of Fort Worth, Matthew
Asay and Jacob Asay, both of Azle, and Martin Martinez of Grand Prairie;
granddaughters, Jessica Davis of Sherman and Corinne Martinez of Grand
Prairie; great-granddaughters, Erin Ray and Rachel Ray, both of Wortham;
great-grandson, Candace Long of Richland; and numerous nieces and
nephews.

Mr. Mullins, who died Sunday, was a native of Kerens and a retired
cotton buyer.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Arnett of Kerens, Mrs.

grandparents were Jim and Cynthia Ann Teer of Freestone County.
His beloved wife, Ann Ross Oneal Young,
preceded him in death in 1994, as did his brothers, Forest Fannin Young,
Fred Hill Young and sisters Margaret Ann (Maggie) Young Cole and Ora
Katherine Young Parker.
Mr. Young was a lifetime cattle rancher and a
member of the First Baptist Church in Streetman.
Survivors include his son Jimmie Ross Young and
wife Ann York Young of Streetman. Sister Nora (Baby Nora) Young Norman
of DeSoto, Texas and loved by and missed by many nieces, nephews and
friends.

in Midland, Texas He was born October 28, 1930 in Streetman, Texas
to Clinton and Laura Bradford. James received a B.A. from Wiley
College and an M.A. from Texas Southern University. He has spent
31 years as a social studies teacher with the idland Independent School
District, and at the time of his death was teaching at Midland College.
James was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. James is
survived by his two sons, Courtland Bivens III of Atlanta, Georga and
Mark Bivens of Accokeek, Maryland; one brother, Miles Bradford of
Streetman, Texas; two grandchildren, Courtland Bivens IV and Mark Bivens
II; two aunts, Bell Ewing of Dallas, Texas and Annie Lee Perkins of
Streetman, Texas; a host of relatives and friends. A wake will be
held at 7:00 P.M. Friday March 7, 2003 at Ellis Funeral Home.

LOIS DILLARD ODOM, "Granny", 85, long-time resident of Oak Cliff passed
away October 7, 2002. Mrs. Odom was born in Rice, Texas on January
21, 1917, to James Nathaniel and Eddie Maris Dillard. She was
united in marriage with Virgil Allen Odom on October 19, 1935.
They moved to Dallas during World War II and Mrs. Odom worked for
several different companies as a bookkeeper and accountant. She
was an accountant for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas before her
retirement. Her husband, Virgil, preceded her in death on May 28,
2002. Theirs was a true love affair that lasted 66 years.
One sister and two brothers also predeceased her. She is survived
by her loving family: daughter and son-in-law, Fairy Muriel and John
Wagner of Spring, TX; granddaughters and spouses, DeAnne and Farrell
Smith and Dana and Matt Slinkard, all of Spring, TX; grandson and
spouse, Brent and Naita Wagner of Flynn Texas; great-grandchildren,
Natalie Smith, Ashley Wagner and Blake Slinkard; sisters, Alta Bates and

sisters. He is survived by his sister, Ola Pugh of Whitesboro, TX;

MARGARET ANNETTA, age 77 of Temple died Monday, February 3, 2002 at her

born August 19, 1925 in Dallas the daughter of Edward E. and Mabel A.
Oman Robinson. She graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas in
1942. Was employed at Federal Reserve Bank, Dallas, Publishers
Guild, South Oak Cliff State Bank, and Dallas Commercial Warehouse
retiring in 1994 when she moved to the Golden Haven Apartments in
Temple. She married Roy E. Lincoln in 1945. She was a former
member of Oak Cliff Christian Church, South Cliff Christian Church, and

see the wildflowers, fishing, oil painting, music, reading, pet cats and
dogs, and wildlife where she hand fed whitetail deer. Preceded in
death by her parents and brothers Arthur Robinson and James Robinson.
Survived by sons Donald Richard and wife Kathy of Lago Vista and Warren
Douglas and wife Susan of Salado; grandsons Gregory, Darren, Aaron,
Shawn, and Alex, step-grandson Chad Crosby of Atlanta, granddaughter
Ashley; sister Doris Edwards and husband James of Canton.

MADISONVILLE — Services for Ruth Virginia Carraway, 78, of Madisonville
are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Madisonville Funeral Home.
The Rev. Donnie Foster will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present
from 5 to 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Wednesday
at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carraway died Sunday in Madisonville.
She was born in Corsicana and had lived in Madisonville for 23 years.
She formerly lived in Houston and was a homemaker. She was a member of
the Second Baptist Church in Madisonville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Imogene Carraway.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Carraway of Madisonville; a son
and daughter-in-law, Harvey and Susie Carraway of Mineola; a daughter
and son-in-law, Geraldine and Wesley Randall of Houston; and two
grandchildren.

Mr. Beasley
Dayton S. Beasley, 59, of Long-view, died Oct. 5, 2003 in Dallas at
Baylor University Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with
leukemia. Funeral services will be held Oct. 8 at Summerfield United
Methodist Church with Dr. William Couvillion officiating.
He was born Sept. 13, 1944 in Corsicana, the son of Samuel and Lora Ruth
Beasley. He graduated from Mansfield High School in 1963 and the
University of Texas at Arlington in 1969.
He worked as an electrical engineer for Exxon for many years be-fore he
purchased Cloud’s Pleez-ing Sandwiches in 1975. He was a member of the
Summerfield United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bar-bara Ormsby Beasley of Longview; son and
daughter-in-law, Joel and Heather Beasley of Longview; daughter and
son-in-law, Angela and Heath Parker of Longview; Barbara’s son, Aaron
and wife, Reagan Ormsby of Bluffton, Ind.; his mother, Lora Ruth Beasley
of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnal and Patsy Beasley of
Hamilton; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Terry Bewley of
Longview; his grandchildren, Anne-lies, Bronwyn and Benjamin Beasley;
Stephanie, Brittany and Dayton Charles Parker and Ethan Ormsby as well
as numerous neph-ews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral service for Thomas Reid, 65, was held Monday, August 18, 2003,
at 3 p.m. at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Colmesneil, with Brother Tom
Owen officiating. A Masonic graveside service followed at Ebenezer
Cemetery by Magnolia Masonic Lodge #495 in Woodville. Visitation was
held Saturday evening and Sunday at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville.
Mr. Reid passed
away August 15, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Born July 20,
1938 in Corsicana, to Thomas A. and Mildred Cagle Reid. He lived in
Woodville for many years. He was a retired tool and die maker. He was an
endowed member of the National Rifle Association. A life member of the
Texas State Rifle Association, a member of Fairbanks Masonic Lodge #1363
in Houston and Magnolia Masonic Lodge #495 in Woodville.
He is survived
by his wife, Rhonda Hallmark Reid of Woodville; sisters, Tonie Havard
and husband, M. O. of Town Bluff and Tonna Walker and husband, Jimmy of
Nederland ; and three daughters; numerous grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Serving as
pallbearers were Joe Robinson, Nathan Brewer, Chad McGee, Justin Havard,
Daniel Havard, Robert Havard and David Records.
Services were
under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.

Mr. Parker died Wednesday in Austin.
He was born in Corsicana and was formerly of College Station. He was
employed in heat and air conditioning maintenance.

Parker, both of Dripping Springs; a daughter, Miranda Chantelle Parker
of Dripping Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, Kelly and Terri Parker
of College Station; and a sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Ben

Regional Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corley
Funeral Chapel.

Resthaven Memorial Park.
Tomlinson is a native of Woodland, Ala., and had lived in
Corsicana since 1961. He was a former owner of Gibson's Discount
Store here, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a
World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Tomlinson, of Corsicana, one
daughter, Barbara Erwin, of Corsicana; a son Ronald Tomlinson, of
Corsicana; four sisters Novis Green of Roanoke, Ala.; Marvolene
Benefield, of Wedowee, Ala.; Joyce Stein, of Houston; Mrs. Lonnie
Murphy, of Birmingham, Ala.; one brother, Russel Tomlinson, of Bowdon,
Ga.; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Lunsford Livingston Obituary Rites for Lunsford Livingston
Services for Lunsford Livingston of Dallas, a ranch owner and oil and
gas operator, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Corley Funeral Home in
Corsicana, Navarro County. Livingston died Monday at his Dallas home. He
was 74. He was born in Seminole, Okla. He was a graduate of New Mexico
Military Institute and the University of Oklahoma. Livingston moved to
Dallas in 1955 to oversee his family’s ranch in Navarro County. He had
operated L.P. Livingston Energy Co. in West Texas. Livingston is
survived by two daughters, Susie McLean and Molly Hobson, both of
Dallas; a sister Fay Livingston of Oklahoma City; a brother, William S.
Livingston of Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in
Oakwood Cemetery in
Corsicana.
