He married his classmate: Mary Frances Johnson (23 Feb 1903-1 Apr 1972), daughter of Luther Alexander Johnson and Turner Adelaide Read. May 1976 Cowin Robinson, Corsicana H.S., Class of 1920, was my grandfather His wife, Ruth Robinson passed away in 2007 in Arlington Heights, IL and is buried by his side in Oakwood Cemetary in Raleigh, NC . He is survived by two of his daughters, Jill McCain(my mother) who resides in Bennington, VT and Ann Swindell who resides in Arlington Heights, IL, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. His Youngest daughter, Lynn Pendergraft, passed away in 1990. I don't know the exact details however I know that Cowin graduated from Sterling College in Sterling, KS, earned his Masters Degree from the University of Kansas and earned a PhD. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin. I'm unsure of exact dates however, my mother lived in Massachusetts and Wisconsin prior to settling in North Carolina in the late 40's or early 50's where Cowin was a Chemistry Professor at North Carolina State University until he retired in the late 60's or early 70's. ...Ken McCain (grandson of Cowin), Overland Park, KS
