The 3rd Ward school was located on the corner of 1st Ave and 13th in Corsicana, TX where the Old Stephen F Austin school is now.  It served briefly as Corsicana High School while the "ornate " one was being built in 1901.  It latter took on the name Stephen F Austin  until it was raised in the early 20s and replaced with the building that is there now (currently part of the CISD Administration Building).
