John Pevehouse agrees to sell two slave children. DS, 1p, legal folio, Navarro County, TX, Jan 6, 1857. Pevehouse writes agreeing to sell for “the sum of two thousand dollars...certain negro slaves to with Mary and her two children Jim and Augustus, this day purchased by me at a public sale of property belonging to the Estate of John Welch decd...” More.
